Lifting weights is one of the best ways to get the leaner body your want. You can eat more as well
because weight training increases the overall number of calories you burn in a day. You can eat more
and stay lean at the same time.
Ladies lifting heavy weights will not make you bigger it will make you tighter and smaller. You cannot
spot reduce fat from a specific area on the body so if you want to lose fat on your tummy you cannot
do 100 sit ups and think you will lose fat. But by weight training you CAN focus on specific muscle
groups and build them up and create shape. So, if you want a perkier bum, train glutes more often
not less than 3 times a week focus of hip thrusts, deadlifts, squats etc. Or, if you want more defined
arms, focus on arm and shoulder exercises more often.
Unless you are a genetic freak you will not get big, it is actually super hard to build muscle.
